hewwo. my name is holly. i am a bearded collie. if you are wondering what a bearded collie is, that's vewwy vewwy sad because we are the most wonderfullest, coolest, happiest, cheerfulest, funnest, did i mention wonderfullest dogs on earth!!
i live in a nice big house with my humom, and daddy, and human sister, and two catses that love me lots and want to play with me all the time. i have a nice big yard with a fence and lots of balls. there is a building that my catses and i play under. they go under it and i go under as far as i can and bark at them. it's very loud and echo-y under there. they love that game. a lot.
i also have BALLS. lots of balls. i am the inventor of all beardie soccer league. you pop about half of your soccer balls so that they are flat and fold nicely. then you grab one of those in your mouth and your humom kicks the balls that still roll and you chase them and smash them with the ball that's folded up in your mouth. sometimes i can smash them in the air because i am the best beardie soccer player there is. i am that good.
another thing i love a lot is cookies. i can sit very nicely for cookies and have lots of cute things i'll do for one. all my humom has to do is say "what does a beardie do for a cookie?" and i'll just do all kinds of things that will melt your heart. i live for cookies, any kind any flavor the more the better!
on one side of me is a very nice dog who likes to bark at me. i always try to smush one of my flat balls through the fence so she can play with it. i'm that nice. on the other side is boo. he is my best friend in the world that i know in person. or in dog, i guess. he is the same sort of colors as me and when we talk through the fences he kind of whines and it's very pretty. some day we're going to run in the yard together and i am so happy about that.
we only just moved here. i spent the first years of my life at our other house and had no one to play with there except some teacup humans that lived next door. they were nice and fun, but didn't quite get it.
i am a very happy grrrl and i'm sure you want to be my best friend. everyone does, so it's okay i'm used to it.

ReplyDeleteThis is Pepsi. I am 2 1/2 years old!! You are so beautiful! I hace been watching you on facebook! You are so cute and so much fun. I am too. My mommy loves me very much. She keeps me clean and brushes me. Sometimes she puts a top-knot on my head to keep my beautiful hair out of my eyes. But I don't really like it all that much. I know she's trying yo help me but I like my hair all over my face!! She takes me for 2 walks each day and then of course i have a fenced yard where I play all day and also get to see Dexter who is a mixed baby,beagle,ect.Lucky is a golden retriever across the street and then there is Max, the German Sheperd! I love being a beardie because we are so very sweet, funloving and beautiful!!I hope you have a great halloween Miss Holly. We are going to a party right here in our cul-de-sac!! pepsi, we are so much a like. my mommy tries to put bows in my hair but i wont let her i like my hair down too and i live in a cul-de-sac too!! we must be twins!! What color beardie are you? i am a miss mark. i am mostly white but i have some brown ears and eyes and some spots on my back. i am very pretty. you are my best friend pepsi and i'm so glad you wrote on my blog! and i am so glad we're friends on facebook too. we can be double friends!!!

His name is Mason. His mommy's name is Karen Tegtmeyer and they live in Missouri. We saw them last year at Purina Farms in Saint Louis! We will see them again in June at Purina Farms. It was a fun time with all of us beardies running around the farm. We mad lots of friends!! Wish you could come and be with us next year.Keep in touch. I love you. _-Pepsi
ReplyDeletethank you pepsi, i love you too!! you are so lucky to have a twin brother. mommy said she hopes we can come to purina farms some day. i would love seeing all the beardies and i know i would find some more best friends there. i went to a beardie bounce once and everyone was so nice one beardie chased a sheepie into a pond and had to have a bath right there because the humoms thought it smelled bad but it really smelled really good. :o} u sounds like a very big boy and i am very small i weigh 40 pounds mommy says. i nearly died this summer that was what i did in june. it wasn't fun and i felt so so bad and my mommy cried and took very good care of me. i hope you've never been sick. i love you. love your best friend holly

ReplyDeletei like your mommy too pepsi she sends me pretty hugs and smiles on facebook. i'm glad i'm alive too, it was very scary being so sick but i did get to eat stuff i've never eaten before like bacon and eggs and ground beef and stuff like that. i had to take so many pills that i rattled, at least mommy told me i did. i don't know. are you good when your mommy brushes you? i'm not, i try to be but it just hurts even when she just holds the brush near me it hurts and i snap. mommy says i'm silly but it really really does hurt. so bad. so so bad. mommy says i'm mellow dramatic. whatever that means. i've got to go play ball now do you like to play ball? love holly!
ReplyDeleteI love to play ball Holly and yes, i tease mommy when she is brushing me. Sometimes mommy says,"Pepsi settle down, I am goingto brush you and make you pretty",and that's when i listen to her. She sings "You are so beautiful to me",every day at least once..and sometimes more.. i think she forgets sometimes that she already sang to me...but i love to hear her so i don't tell her i already heard that song today!! I roll over while she's singing to me, on my back so she can rub my belly and look into my beeautiful eyes!! She loves my eyes. They are a bluish gray, the color of my coat.She is so cool. We hug and roll on the floor together.She's my dearest human friend in the world. We will always be there for each other. Love you, Miss Holly-Pepsi
ReplyDeleteo, pepsi, your mommy sounds very nice. she sounds like my mommy. my mommy sings to me a lot too, i specially like the songs that have my name in them. i bet your eyes are very pretty. my eyes are kind of pale greenish brownish golden. mommy says they are human eyes, but i am a dog so i don't quite know what she means. do you have a table your mommy stands you on to brush you? mine is the treat table, and i get lots of treats on it. but i still don't like being brushed because it rips my hair out and tortures me even if the brush only gets near me. sigh. we are lucky to have human mommies aren't we? did you know some dogs don't have human mommies who love them and i think that's sad. the dog that lives on one side of me never gets petted or played with and that's why she barks at me when mommy and i are playing. mommy says she just wants friends, but i try to give her my ball through the fences.

Miss Holly, I am so lucky to have my mommy. ...just like you. Yes, i have a table out on the deck. It's called something like a tempered glass table. When mommy brushes me that is where she does it.It is a great time for mommy and me because we kiss each other and she talks pretty to me. I love that.I stand up and put my paws around her shoulders and hug her and nuzzle her hair. It smells so good and I am sure your mommy's hair smells good too.We are very lucky. I hope the doggie next door to you will be ok. It makes me very sad to hear about doggies that people don't love. Every doggie and human need love.I am going to go for a ride with mommy to the store. I love to ride in her car. Everybody looks at me and sometimes they ask mommy what kind of doggie i am and she says the best in the world...a Bearded Collie! Then she tells them all about me and my,I think he called it..ancestors or something like that. They tell her how beautiful i am. Some of them say to her when she comes back to the car. Do you know your dog is driving? ...and she looks at them and smiles and says,"yes, he got his license two weeks ago! Then she smiles some more,gets in the car and we drive home I reallylove mommy's...i think she calls it a "sense of humor!! I have to go now, Miss Holly because mommy is going to take me for a ride.
