i bet you have been wondering what i've been doing. well the answer is lots. i had snow, yes S-N-O-W!!!! i didn't have a lot like my fwinds channing and roz and pepsi and mason and all the other fwinds i have but i had some snow and some ice. i wasn't so sure about it, and didn't really want to go out in it, but my mommy walked out wif me and i felt safe and then it was fun. after it fwoze, i liked running on it. mommy would stand on the patio and call my name and i would run back and forth and she would laugh. we did that many many times, more than i can count and it was so fun. i liked the sound my feet made and i liked sliding. i am getting really good at "coming when called" which is something very important to mommies. i get in the far far corner beside the store age building and mommy calls and i run as fast as i can to her and she laughes because i am so cute and make her happy and then she gives me cheese!!!
on the subject of cheese, i have several times lately had a lovely meal of egges and cheese. i like that so much and i beg and beg and play so pretty and mommy gives it to me when it's not hot any more and i eat it all up.
we has also had lots of rain. my yard flooded and one night i got so muddy mommy cried and put me in the shower before she could take my human grrrl to dance class. i think it's fun to run in the puddles and plash the water everywhere. mommy says holly u need some of those nice boots and i say no thank you mommy ever so politely and so i don't have any yet. boots are very nice for some boys and grrrls but to be honest i am not one of those boys and grrrls. i am a barefoot kind of grrrrl.
but the most important thing is that this weekend is valentines day. mommy will be spending the whole day taking the human grrrl to dance rehearsals, but i plan on having maybe some egges and cheese and taking some naps. i wish my mommy would take a nap too because she's so very tired. here are the beardies i'm asking to be my valentines: pepsi and mason and tossie and channing and roz and annie and sailor and fergus and mr. macgregor and the new holly i just met and boo next door and kanga even tho she barks at me and i'm sure i've forgotten someone, but all my fwinds. i'm not sure what a valentine is but i think it's someone you love and i love all my fwinds so so so so so much. but most of all i want my mommy to be my valentine because she takes such good care of me and i love her more than anything on earth! luv holly

ReplyDeleteHolly, I am so glad you are back on your blog writing something happy! You hav been busy in the snow and the mud. I love the snow too. My mommy likes me in the snow because I stay clean. I have never had eggs and cheese, but I am still a puppy so I guess there are a lot of treats I have not tasted. I will ask my mom to make me some. Just between the two of us I will tell you that she doesn't cook a lot, and sometimes when she does the terrible smoke alarm goes off. Now when I think she is going to get some pans and bowls out I run to the door to go out! I don't know if eggs and cheese are worth it after all.

Hi Holly...glad that you finally got some snow. I know that youse been waitin for it fer quite a while. Oh and yeah puddle stompin is great fun, even if moms don't understand. Youm might wanna think about some nice boots though. Mom makes me wear them when we go play pretty dog at the dog shows. There not too bad, and definitely better than havin to get a bath. ReplyDeleteHi Holly, this is from Boodles and Bombay - we live in western NY and it's very snowy,you should come visit us. We have a big yard where we can run all by ourselves, but we love going for walks with our mom. We also have a pool in the summer, and we love to jump in, but our mom isn't so happy when we do that because we make a muddy mess and it's hard to make us look good after that, but we don't care . . . we like to have fun!
